The Department Homeland Security (DHS) requires you to certify that you must have available funds to cover your studies at CCC, exclusive to travel expenses.   In computing your expenses, you should keep in mind that international students (F-1 status/visa) are not allowed to work outside the campus except in special circumstances.   The amount of funds required for the academic year of 2012-2013 in approximately $20,000 (see information below) based on a full time 12 units enrollment (the minimum required for F-1 visa students).

 

Tuition and enrollment fees will be collected in full at the time of registration.  International student tuition for the academic year is $247 per unit (subject to change).  As indicated on the explanation of costs on the Financial Certification form, students must verify that they have available approximately $20,000 per academic year.  The bank statement must show an actual amount.
