
Rudy Zeller,
Head Coach
Rudy Zeller is a native of Quito, Ecuador. He attended Brown University, then San Francisco State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree. Rudy was a starter on his high school soccer team all four years, and won all-state honors in his junior and senior years. He played two years as a varsity starter in soccer at Brown University.
Rudy has a wealth of coaching experience including club and high school. He was head coach of the northern California Olympic Development Teams in 1981, 1982, 1987, and 1988. He coached for five years at Branson School in Marin, three years at Piedmont High School and four years at Foothill High School. His college coaching experience includes three years as assistant men’s coach at St. Mary’s College, four years as assistant men’s coach at the University of San Francisco, and eight years as head coach at Contra Costa College.
When he’s not coaching, Rudy enjoys golf, tennis, camping, hiking, birding, and traveling.
