Graphic Communication Department
Contra Costa College
The graphic communication department is dedicated to teaching students how to solve design problems. The Macintosh computer and computer applications are used as design tools with which the student can create excellent designs that solve design problems. Course offerings rotate from semester to semester and most courses can be repeated to obtain maximum information. The courses are taught in the Macintosh lab which presently has 25 powerful computers-Macintosh G4 computers.
After completing a succession of our courses many students have transferred to 4-year colleges while others have obtained employment in the graphic design industry. Many students take our courses to pursue their own personal graphic design projects. We welcome all students with a professional or personal interest in graphic design.
