FEES, COSTS, AND REFUNDS (ALL FEES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.)

ENROLLMENT FEES

  • $26 per unit for California residents
  • $210 per unit for Nonresident ($184 nonresident tuition fee + $26 enrollment fee)
  • $214 per unit for Permanent nonresidents of another country ($184 nonresident tuition fee + $4 facilities fee + $26 enrollment fee)

*Parking permits and hangers may be purchased in the Admissions and Records, Cashier Office, and the Bookstore. For daily parking, locate the red parking meters located throughout the campus.

TRANSCRIPT FEES
The following services, their corresponding processing times, and fees are listed below:

(1) Students may receive 2 free transcripts across the district (i.e. 1 at CCC and 1 at DVC equals 2)

ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION FEES

Free: copies of official verification of enrollment can be obtained (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) through WebAdvisor (click on "Enrollment Verification" for this service).

From Admissions & Records: Students can also obtain verification of enrollment from the Admissions and Records Office as follows:
          • Standard: 1st two are free, then $2.00 per verification
          • Special Handling (ie extra research or verification on campus letterhead): $5.00 (no free verifications)

National Student Clearinghouse:
In addition, students can also obtain enrollment or degree verification by contacting the National Student Clearinghouse (Web site: www.studentclearinghouse.org, Email service: service@studentclearinghouse.org, Phone: (703) 742-4200, or Fax: (703) 742-4239). CCC submits enrollment and degree information to the National Student Clearinghouse multiple times each semester.

 

BOOKS AND SUPPLIES

$250- You may purchase all your books and supplies at our campus Bookstore. The average cost for books per term is $250.

 

DEBTS TO THE COLLEGE

If you incur any debt at the campus, an administrative hold will be placed on your record. The hold will not allow you to release transcripts, enroll in courses, or be issued a degree. Please clear your financial debts promptly.

 

COLLEGE CATALOG

$4- If you wish to purchase the college catalog, you may send $4 to: Bookstore, Contra Costa College, 2600 Mission Bell Drive, San Pablo, CA 94806. Or you may purchase the catalog in person for $3.50.

 

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL FEE

Instructional material fees for certain selected credit or noncredit courses may be paid at the time of registration, or the materials may be purchased on your own. Authority for the charge is granted under Contra Costa Community College District Board Policy 5024. These instructional and other materials include but are not limited to test books, tools, equipment and clothing if:

1. the instructional and other materials required for the course have a continuing value to the student outside of the classroom setting, or

2. the instructional and other materials are used in the production of an "end product" that has continuing value to the student outside the classroom setting. See course schedule for instructional material fee costs.

 

ENROLLMENT FEE REFUND/NON RESIDENT TUITION REFUND

Refunds are the return of enrollment fees due to a decrease in the units of enrollments. Refer to the course schedule or college catalog for details. All fee refunds are automatically processed and mailed. Refunds are processed at the District Office and mailed monthly.

SUMMER AND SHORT TERM CLASS REFUNDS

No refund of fees will be given if a class is dropped after 10% of the class has met. In order to receive a full refund of fees ask your instructor for drop dates that are listed on the class roster.
