The Advocate - Student Newspaper
The Advocate is the student newspaper, published most Wednesdays during Fall and Spring terms by students in the journalism program. It is free and is available at many drop sites on the campus. Readers are encouraged to take an active interest in the newspaper and respond through letters to the editor. Advertisers wishing to be included in the newspaper may contact the newspaper in AA-215, phone (510) 235-7800,

CURRENT - Student Journal of Art and Literature
CURRENT is a student journal of art and literature published yearly by the Contra Costa College English Department. CCC also publishes a second journal called "C" devoted to student fiction.
Students who wish to submit poetry, fiction, essays, or artwork may send them to:

The journal editors assume no responsibility for unsolicited contributions. To join the staff, enroll in ENGL 293 - "Creative Writing". The course is offered every semester and meets on Thursdays.
